At The Gilded Garden, we believe beauty and responsibility can go hand in hand.
Our floral designs may feel luxurious, lush, and abundant—but behind the scenes, we’re intentional about how we create that beauty. Sustainability isn’t just a trend to us—it’s a core value.
Here’s how we approach it:

1. Foam-Free Design (Whenever Possible)
Traditional floral foam is harmful to the environment. That’s why we choose to design without it whenever we can. Instead, we use reusable tools like chicken wire, pin frogs, and water tubes. These allow us to create beautiful arrangements while minimizing waste.
2. Repurposing and Reimagining
We’re big believers in giving things a second life. From vintage vases to repurposed mechanics and reusable ceremony structures, we always look for creative ways to reduce waste and reuse what we can without compromising design integrity.
3. Mindful Material Choices
When sourcing flowers and materials, we seek out local growers when possible and select blooms that offer both visual impact and longevity. We also choose materials that can be reused, recycled, or composted.
4. Designs That Serve Double Duty
We love creating floral pieces that can move from ceremony to reception, or bouquets that double as centerpieces. This not only reduces waste but ensures that every bloom gets to shine.
For us, sustainability is about making choices that are kinder to the earth—while still creating floral moments that feel indulgent, artful, and deeply personal.
Because caring for the planet is always in style.
